Good bye legacy forums…

I remember the day as if it were yesterday. A late fall afternoon in the Northwest, the sky ever threatening a downpour but always short on the delivery; we got mizzle instead. Best pal, Strabo, and I conspiring to infect the ‘net with a new virus. Then it happened: the dreaded DNS entry that pointed to Things were NOT the same after that, I can assure you.

As George Harrison said, “All things must pass.” I am sure it was probably some pre-historic who actually said it first, but no matter. As of an hour ago, the “legacy” MCHY forum doors were locked and sealed up for all time and eternity. So if you have a bookmark to that page, it will soon redirect you to the NEW level of Hades reserved for only the very determined of cat-lovers.

If you want to see the old forums, there is a link to a static archive in the Forum Info – Site Info forum. Dig it the most if you want 8 years of heart-stopping insanity. If not, come play in the new ones 🙂 Hope to see you there.

Il Papa approves!

  1. Now you’ve got the bloody pope as moderator. Is there no limit to your depravity, Jim? Have you thought about starting a MPHY (my pope hates you) website, as the picture above is crying out for a better caption than I Approve This Post.

  2. Do you notice how like an evil Santa Claus the pope looks in that outfit? The only thing missing is the beard.

Not that you would him to be like Santa Claus, I wouldn’t let any little children near any catholic prelate, myself.
