Monday, 17 April 2006 : Happy Easter, peeps!

What better way to celebrate the resurrection than a visit from Chairman Mao to our fair Emerald City. Wait... sorry, I meant President Lou, errr, Hu. He will grace our fair city tomorrow with his presence, where he will spend time with the Imperious Leader of Seattle, Bill Gates. They are going to talk about what fun it is to make lots of money from exploiting workers and buying big houses. I wonder if Bill will reference the invasion of Tibet as a corollary for dominance in the PC market. So many questions.

Let me not forget the week gone by where we had the largest immigrant rally in the city's history. Tens of thousands of mostly 'latino' workers strolling around downtown Seattle, taking in the window dressings of things they will never be able to afford. As they strolled around my apartment, I went out and took some pictures of them expressing their dissatisfaction with the leaders of commerce. My fave hangout across the street, The Quarter Lounge, was a great vantage from where to watch the throng. In fact, a bunch of them came in to share their revelry with us, by buying booze and playing billiards and cheering the regular crowd as we spoke in broken Spanglish. White people... what can you do. Among the many thousands of Mexican-Americans that traipsed about the neighborhood were caucasians that appeared in solidarity. Here is a pic of one that obviously had TOO much to drink. His sign was not even in English... or Spanglish!

While I have been working on Bad Cat, Too the last few weeks I have intentionally neglected the website so as to create some kind of anticipation. Backfire. It just appears that less people have decided to visit. In response, I am posting new cats THIS VERY NIGHT! Check them out, if you can stomach the weakness.

Merchandise news! We are working on Boy Shorts for you chicks, decorated with Lulu 'Jive Turkey' Jones and some cleverly-placed paw prints. As well, we are bringing back the Killer Pussy baby-T shirts. Being summer ahead, we have decided to stray from the black color and do some pink or white. Yar! Also, we have a fridge-magnet collection coming up and notepads. Keep an eye out for them, and not in the pirate sense of the word. Though, MCHY eye patches would not necessarily be unfashionable. Impress your friends with a missing eye!
